Phillip Island Gippsland VIC

What an excellent diverse region is the Phillip Island & Gippsland area of Victoria is. There are many reasons holidaymakers rate this district a top destination to visit, but the easy answer would be - its beautiful diversity.

Wild beaches all along the coastline, with calming inlet areas, with some great fishing, farming and mining towns to discover and enjoy. There is beautiful stretches of wild bushland, where a multitude of Australin wildlife thrives. One of the most famous is the Phillip Island Penguin colonies. A must see for all the family

One of Australia's largest dairy industries is also located in this region of rolling hills and fertile fields, along with a growing food & wine industry.

The High Country rises from the foothills in the north of this region, to provide some excellent skiing adventures in the winter and relaxing walking trails through the grasslands and blooming wildflowers in the spring to autumn months.

Visitors to this region, enjoy a variety of activities and is also well serviced for accommodations and things to do. One of our favorites is the "Gourmet Deli Trail" in the central Gippsland district. Here you can sample some of the finest locally grown produce such as, berries, cheeses, trout, wines, herbs and even venison. A delicious holiday experience.

If you have the opportunity to experience the Motorcycle GP events at Phillip Island, we also recommend a weekend here, for the high octane excitement and thrills of world class motorcycle racing.

Whatever your reason for a holiday in this region, we are sure you will be completely satisfied with the experiences and memories a weekend or week away in the Phillip Island & Gippsland region will offer.
