Only an hour from the heart of Melbourne, is one of Australia's finest wine regions, the Yarra Valley.

Some of the finest cool climate wines are produced here, with about 50 wineries producing top quality Chardonnay, Bacbernet Sauvignon and pinot noir. Visit the Moet Chandon, - Domaine Chandon for a wonderful winery experience.

There are fine restaurants in many wineries, with art galleries and tours of the vineyards available.

In the region, there are so many great activities and relaxing moments to enjoy this unique region of Australia. It is alo a great region for a variety of local produce, and is well worth doing the Yarra Valley Regional Food Trail, and try the local trout, choclates, berries and cheeses.
