Fishing

Pittwater has much to excite the angler. The calm estuaries of Pittwater and the Hawkesbury River are home a large variety of species including flathead, tailer and bream. Horse Riding

The beautiful bushland around the Pittwater area has many excellent horse riding trails. Terry Hills, Duffys Forest and Ingleside are just up the Mona Vale Road from Mona Vale. In this area there are many stables where rides can be arranged.

Boats Charters & Sailing in Pittwater

The calm waterways of Pittwater are perfect for windsurfing and sailing anything from a small dinghy to a large yacht. Many races are held around pittwater and there are two Yacht Clubs:- The Royal Motor and the Royal Prince Alfred, both are situated on the eastern shores of Pittwater. The Hawkesbury River which winds through National Parks is the ideal destination for a getaway on a houseboat with many deserted secluded beaches to explore and lots of great fishing spots. The river is a popular spot for waterskiers, the Bridge to Bridge held every year is a major long distance waterskiing event.
