Queensland Art Gallery
A collection of Australian, Aboriginal and European art. The gallery has a reputation for housing important international exhibitions.
Located in the Cultural Centre, next to Victoria Bridge on the South Bank.
Open daily 1.00am-5.00pm

Queensland Museum
An impressive collection of Brisbane and Queensland's folk history together with information on our natural world.
Located in the Cultural Centre next to Victoria Bridge on the South Bank.
Open daily 1.00am-5.00pm

Maritime Museum
Containing a large collection of nautical memorabilia with a dry dock and the WWII frigate HMAS Diamantia.
Located at the southern end of South Bank Park.
Open 10.00am-5.00pm

South Bank
South Bank has several excellent attractions, and very soon there will be even more! There's the beach, gardens, playgrounds and barbecue/picnic areas - or take a stroll along the river front promenade.

City Gardens
Established in 1824 the City Gardens contain huge Moreton Bay figs, palms and a rainforest. There is a lovely riverside walk and a mangrove boardwalk.
