Fully Crewed Yacht Charters Whitsundays Qld
If
you
cannot
sail
or are
travelling
alone
or do
not
have
the
budget
to bareboat
charter,
you
can
still
sail
the
Whitsundays.
Select
your
dream
yacht,
be it
a square
rigger,
a luxury
cruiser,
a modern
catamaran
or a
traditional
cruising
yacht,
then
toss
your
cap
and
sunscreen
on your
berth
and
let
the
professional
crew
do the
rest.
Fully
crewed
vessels
cruise
the
islands
during
the
day
and
tuck
into
secluded
coves
at night.
Some
even
sail
to the
outer
Barrier
Reef,
located
about
30 nautical
miles
beyond
the
islands.
However,
like
sailors
from
a bygone
era,
the
weather
will
often
be your
guide
and
you'll
venture
wherever
a fair
breeze
takes
you.
How
much
you
participate
on each
trip
is entirely
up to
you.
The
skipper
and
crew
are
more
than
happy
to show
you
the
ropes
and
will
even
hand
over
the
helm
for
brief
periods,
if you're
brave
enough!
The
same
goes
for
the
daily
agenda.
A typical
day
might
include
a short
swim
before
breakfast
off the
bow
of the
boat,
a sail
to a
deserted
island
beach
for
a spot
of snorkelling,
fishing,
island
exploring
and
sunbaking.
Or you
might
just
want
to kick
back
on the
deck
and
read
a book,
How
much
you
do is
entirely
up to
you.
Accommodation
varies
with
each
boat,
however
most
fully
crewed
charters
feature
individual
bunk
beds
in shared
cabins
or private
cabins
for
couples.
Generally,
all
food
and
equipment
(ie.
snorkelling
gear,
fishing
gear,
linen
etc.)
is provided
by the
boat.
The
advantage
of sailing
on a
fully
crewed
charter
is not
a savings
in monetary
terms
but
a relaxed,
stress
free
holiday
where
all
you
have
to do
is enjoy
yourself.
