Wilson Island - Queensland

A beautiful coral cay near Heron Island. White sand, blue seas, tall palms, bright sunny days and solitude. A wildlife sanctuary and home to a bountiful array of birds, brightly coloured fish and coral.

Imagine being a castaway far from civilisation on a deserted coral island. Yours to share with just sixteen other guests. Go reef viewing in a glass bottomed boat, surf ski, snorkel, scuba dive or go fishing.

Wilson Island is essentially natural – a divine sweep of caster sugar sands that is home to turtles and birds. This tiny coral cay is both part of the Great Barrier Reef and surrounded by it. Its pristine waters host an unimaginable variety of marine life including coral and fish – in fact some of the best snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef is right off the beach at Wilson
Island. Covering just 5.24 acres, Wilson Island is the ultimate island castaway experience, offering seclusion in a setting of unrivalled natural beauty and playing host to just 12 guests at any one time.
