Brampton Island Whitsundays QLD
Pretty as a picture postcard, Brampton Island, has been classified as a national park since 1932.
Exploring the islands many secrets on nearly 11 km (7 miles) of walking tracks will reveal abundant wildlife including cockatoos and grey kangaroos. Then, at low tide stroll across the sea itself, reef walking to Carlisle Island. The colours of the soft coral will astonish you and the reefs at Oyster and Dinghy bays are perfect for snorkelling as well. Visit the outer reef. Take a half day fishing trip around Brampton, Carlisle and Pelican islands.
