Phillip Island - Victoria
Phillip Island , famous for its annual Moto GP race, also has a wide variety of intimate experiences for couples and families to enjoy. With the local Fairy penguins and seals that wander the beaches and secluded inlets of the region, you will just love the friendly vibe of this neighbourhood.
Phillip Island is one of Australia’s most popular holiday destinations. The fantastic wildlife attractions and coastal scenery and fabulous surf beaches delight visitors. Although Phillip Island is best known for its little penguins, Phillip Island has many other impressive attractions.
The nightly Penguin Parade on Summerland Beach, Phillip Island is one of Victoria’s signature international tourist attractions. After sunset, the world’s smallest penguins, at 33 centimetres tall, come home to their burrows in the sand dunes after a day in the sea.
For the avid wildlife-watcher, seals and koalas are the other star attractions, though the island also boasts magnificent coastal scenery and great surf breaks, and sheltered beaches that are safe for swimming and watersports. It is also home to motor-racing history and culture at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit Visitor Centre.
